Long-Term Relationship Building

Friendly reminder to our campaign activators: Don’t copy the tactics of political campaigns. They’re too often focused on short-term wins over long-term relationship building, as evidenced by the enormous amount of text and social media spam.

No Certainty of Outcomes

In democracy, we never know if our side is going to win–there is never a certainty of outcomes. All we can promise is a certainty of process. In an authoritarian regime, you have certainty of outcomes, but uncertainty over process. If you want certainty of outcome, go to Saudi-occupied Arabia.

We Refuse

We refuse to let Big Ag make us the poor, abused, disinherited–the trampled leavings of this county.

One Strategy Big Ag Might Employ

In very heated situations, one strategy Big Ag could employ is not to oppose our campaign, but to do everything it can to muddy the issue in order to confuse folk, thereby keeping them out of our campaign.
